Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Real Side Hustles mobile application ("the app"), operated by Robert Lyon ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. No income guarantee — important

Real Side Hustles is an educational planning tool. It provides information, roadmaps, templates, and coaching to help you start a side hustle. It does not guarantee that you will earn any money or achieve any particular result. Any earnings examples, estimates, or timelines are illustrative only and are not promises. Your results depend on your own effort, skills, market, and other factors outside our control. Nothing in the app is financial, legal, tax, or professional prompt professional advice. You are responsible for complying with any laws, licenses, permits, and taxes that apply to the activities you pursue.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Real Side Hustles is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: Premium Monthly ($9.99/month) or Premium Yearly ($59.99/year).

One subscription covers every platform. Whether you subscribe on our website, in the iPhone app, or in the Android app, signing in with the same email unlocks all of them.

Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

Prices may change; we will give notice as required, and price increases do not apply to your current period without your consent where required.

Where you subscribed determines who bills you, how you cancel, and how refunds work. Please use the row that matches how you paid:

• On realsidehustles.com — billing is handled by our payment provider, Freemius, as merchant of record. Manage or cancel from the billing link in your receipt email or in your account settings. We offer a 14-day refund on website purchases: email support@realsidehustles.com within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.
• In the iPhone app — payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple under Apple's policy, not by us; we cannot refund an App Store charge on your behalf. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• In the Android app — payment is charged to your Google Play account. Manage or cancel in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. Refunds for Play purchases are issued by Google under Google's policy, not by us.

Deleting the app, or deleting your account, does not cancel your subscription. Cancel through the channel you subscribed with, above. Except as described in this section and where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including: reverse-engineering it, attempting to access other users' data, using it for unlawful purposes, or interfering with its operation.

5. Intellectual property

The app and its content (roadmaps, templates, text, and design) are owned by us and protected by law. Content you create in the app (notes, journal entries, logged earnings) belongs to you.

6. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information is accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or lost earnings, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

10. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
